Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

MIA VUCUROVIC, RP(Q)

“THERAPY IS A SPACE TO RECONNECT WITH WHO YOU TRULY ARE.”

Mia is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto. Her work is guided by curiosity, care, authenticity, and respect. Before entering private practice, she supported individuals and families in both private and non-profit addiction treatment settings, helping them navigate vulnerable moments with compassion and structure.

Therapeutic Focus

In her practice, Mia works with clients experiencing:

  • Relational trauma

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Relationship and interpersonal challenges

  • Identity, self-worth, and self-esteem issues

  • Addictions

Her goal is to help clients reconnect with their inner world, make sense of emotions, and cultivate authenticity in their relationships and daily life.

Approach to Therapy

Mia’s approach is relational, attachment-focused, and integrative, often drawing from:

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

  • Mindfulness-based practices

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

She works from a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lens, moving at each client’s pace while considering the impact of environment, relationships, and lived experiences.

Therapeutic Philosophy

Mia views therapy as a collaborative process — a space to slow down, explore what lies beneath the surface, and uncover ways to live more grounded and authentically. Above all, she believes deeply in human resilience and in each person’s capacity to heal and grow.
